Sometimes the best weekends aren’t about business. They’re about community, friendship, and making a difference.

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to get out of the Phoenix heat and head up to Pine, Arizona, for an off-road RZR run with Sons of Arizona.

For those unfamiliar with the term, a RZR (pronounced “Razor”) is a popular off-road recreational vehicle made by Polaris. It’s a type of side-by-side, which means the driver and passengers sit next to each other rather than straddling the vehicle like a traditional ATV.

Think of it as an off-road adventure buggy built for exploring trails, climbing hills, and getting a little dusty along the way!

We had approximately 30 people join us, including several kids, for a fantastic day of riding, enjoying the cooler mountain air, and spending time with some great people.

But the best part wasn’t the scenery or the machines.

It was the reason we were all there.

Riding for Something Bigger

Sons of Arizona is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Arizona children and families facing difficult circumstances.

Throughout the year, the organization brings people together through events, fundraising, and community involvement, with the goal of making a meaningful difference for those who need a little extra help.

Our RZR run was another opportunity to support that mission.

We raised money for the cause, and while the final fundraising totals are still being calculated, every dollar makes a difference.

I’ve always believed that giving back doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s simply showing up, bringing people together, and supporting a cause bigger than ourselves.

A Great Weekend for a Great Cause

Between the beautiful scenery around Pine, the laughter, the dust, and the camaraderie, it was a weekend well spent.

A big thank you to everyone who participated, helped organize the event, or contributed to the fundraising efforts.

And if you haven’t heard of Sons of Arizona, I encourage you to take a few minutes to learn about the organization and the work they’re doing for families in our community.

Sometimes making a difference starts with something as simple as a weekend ride.
